Location Our mobile service means we come to you! We cover Orange County and Los Angeles County. Please confirm your service area when scheduling.
What to Expect
Initial Consultation Our lice technician will arrive at your location, assess the situation, and discuss the treatment plan with you.
Duration of Appointment Appointments typically last between 1–2 hours per treatment depending on the severity of the infestation.
Treatment Process We use non‑toxic, enzyme‑powered solutions followed by complete removal of louse and nits to ensure a safe and effective treatment. The solution remains in the hair for 2 hours before you wash it out.
Treatment Preparation
- Please ensure that all hair is dry, without product, and free of tangles before your appointment. Hair requiring extensive combing may incur an additional fee of $50. If you suffer from dandruff, please don't apologize or be embarrassed—it's common!
- Customers with extensions who need treatment must remove extensions to allow proper comb‑out and treatment.
- Please have a chair and table available in a well‑lit area upon our technician’s arrival.
Cancellation Policy
- Appointments must be secured with a credit card on file; there is no upfront deposit required.
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule; otherwise, a $50 cancellation fee will apply (not credited toward future services).
- For same‑day booking, a cancellation notice of at least 2 hours is necessary; failing to do so will incur a $50 fee.
- As a mobile service, we depend on being able to reach you at your scheduled time. We offer a 10‑minute grace period if you’re delayed. If you do not answer the door and are unreachable by phone, we may consider this a no‑show and cancel your appointment. In such cases, a $50 fee may apply. Please inform us of delays so we can accommodate you.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept debit, (exact) cash, and all major credit cards. If you’re pleased with the service, tips are appreciated and may be offered directly to your technician.

Our team follows strict hygiene and sterilization protocols to ensure the safety of you and your family during treatment.
30‑Day Guarantee
We’re proud to offer a 30‑Day Guarantee to give you peace of mind. To qualify:
- Everyone in the home must receive a head check and/or treatment during the initial visit. If a child lives between two homes, both must be checked and/or treated.
- Purchase our Prevention Kit and use products as directed: wash with the shampoo and conditioner at least three times a week and apply the spray daily. We require the Prevention Kit because it’s the only way we can be sure you’re protecting your family from reinfestation.
If lice return within 30 days, we’ll come back to retreat at no charge; only a $50 travel fee applies, and head checks will be $25 per person. This guarantee applies only to the household(s) originally treated and may be void if steps aren’t followed or new people enter the home.
To invoke the guarantee, you must contact Hot Head Lice Removal within the 30‑day period and have all household members checked to confirm the presence of lice. If no active lice or nits are found during a follow‑up visit, the standard head check fee of $135.00 will apply.
Additional Services
- Urgent lice removal services between 10:00 PM and 3:00 AM for 1.5× the normal household rates—subject to technician availability.
- Complimentary advice on prevention and maintenance, plus tips for managing lice outbreaks at school and home.
