Hot Head Lice Removal LLC specializes in mobile lice removal services, offering a one-time treatment with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Our focus is on delivering high-quality care while ensuring that our policies support this commitment.
Definitions:
In these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"), the following definitions apply:
âBusiness Dayâ means any day on which businesses are open for operations in California, excluding weekends and public holidays.
âConditionsâ means these general Terms and Conditions that govern the sale and delivery of Products and Services by Hot Head Lice Removal.
âContractâ refers to the agreement formed between the Customer and Hot Head Lice Removal upon the issuance of an Order Confirmation, which consists of these Terms and any additional documents mutually agreed upon in writing.
âCustomerâ means any individual or entity that places an order for Products or Services from Hot Head Lice Removal, including but not limited to lice removal services and the product lines LiceLess, LiceLess Shielding, and LiceLess Elimination.
âDelivery Addressâ means the address specified by the Customer for the delivery of the Product or the location where the lice removal service will be provided, as indicated in the Order Confirmation.
âProductâ refers to the items being purchased by the Customer, including the product lines LiceLess, LiceLess Shielding, and LiceLess Elimination.
âServiceâ refers to the lice removal services provided by Hot Head Lice Removal, which may include in-home treatment, salon treatments, and consultation services.
âOrder Confirmationâ means Hot Head Lice Removalâs formal acknowledgment of the Customerâs order, which includes a description of the Product or Service, pricing, and other relevant terms.
âWebsiteâ refers to the official website operated by Hot Head Lice Removal where Products and Services are displayed and available for purchase.
General Provisions:
2.1 Age Requirement: The Customer represents that they are at least eighteen (18) years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this Contract.
2.2 Business Days: If any payment or action is due on a day that is not a Business Day, such payment or action may be performed on the next Business Day.
Video Tutorial:
3.1 Risk of Use: The Customer uses the Website at their own risk. Hot Head Lice Removal is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of the Website or any links to external websites.
3.2 Compliance: The Customer is responsible for ensuring that their access to the Website is legal and does not violate any applicable laws.
3.3 Security and Integrity: The Customer must take reasonable precautions to protect their device from viruses or other malicious software. Hot Head Lice Removal expressly disclaims liability for any damage that may occur to the Customer's equipment or data.
3.4 Product and Service Information: The features, specifications, prices, and availability of Products and Services on the Website are subject to change without notice. Images of Products on the Website are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from actual Products and Services.
Mobile Service and Pricing:
4.1 Placing an Order: To order Products or Services, the Customer must follow the instructions provided on the Website and complete the payment process.
4.2 Order Confirmation: Upon receiving the Customer's order, Hot Head Lice Removal will send an Order Confirmation to the Customer via email. This confirmation signifies acceptance of the order, forming a binding Contract between the parties.
4.3 Cancellation of Service: Hot Head Lice Removal reserves the right to cancel any Service appointment at any time. In such cases, the Customer will be entitled to a refund of any amounts paid for Services not rendered as of the cancellation date.
4.4 Product and Service Delivery: The Product will be delivered to the Delivery Address provided by the Customer. For Services, Hot Head Lice Removal will schedule an appointment at the Delivery Address as indicated in the Order Confirmation.
4.5 Service Scheduling: The Customer must provide accurate information for scheduling Service appointments. Any failure to accurately report the number of individuals requiring lice treatment may result in additional charges and rescheduling.
4.6 Delivery Issues: If Hot Head Lice Removal is unable to deliver the Product or provide the Service due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, the Customer may incur additional charges for storage or transport for Products or rescheduling for Services.
4.7 Claims for Loss or Damage: For Products, the Customer must report any claims of loss, damage, or misdelivery in writing via email to Hot Head Lice Removal, ([email protected]), within twenty-four (24) hours of the delivery or collection time. For Services, any issues regarding service performance must be reported within twenty-four (24) hours of the appointment for review.
Affiliate Program:
5.1 Payment Process: The Customer agrees to make payment in accordance with the process outlined on the Website. Payments can be made via the methods accepted by Hot Head Lice Removal. Appointments scheduled through Hot Head Lice Removalâs site, phone, or email must be secured with a credit card on file; there is no upfront deposit required.
5.2 Authorization: The Customer authorizes Hot Head Lice Removal to process the payment upon issuing an Order Confirmation for Products or Services.
5.3 Declined Payments: If the Customer's payment is declined or not approved by the Customerâs financial institution, Hot Head Lice Removal may terminate the Contract without liability and will notify the Customer of the termination.
5.4 Fraud Prevention: If Hot Head Lice Removal reasonably suspects fraudulent activity during payment processing, it may terminate the Contract or request further information. The Customer must provide this information within seven (7) days or the Contract will be canceled, and a refund issued.
5.5 Payment Terms: All payments are to be made without deduction or set-off, and the Customer may not withhold payment of any amounts due under this Contract.

Cancellations and No-Shows:
- Appointments must be secured with a credit card on file; there is no upfront deposit required.
- A minimum of 24 hoursâ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment; otherwise, a cancellation fee of $50 will apply, which will not be credited toward future services.
- For same-day cancellations or bookings, a notice of at least 4 hours is necessary; failing to do so will incur a $50 fee.
- Late arrivals are permitted a 10-minute grace period; arriving more than 10 minutes late will result in the cancellation of the appointment without applying the initial fee.
Emergency Services:
We offer urgent lice removal services between 10 PM and 3 AM for an additional charge of 1.5 times the normal household rates.
Product and Payment Policies:
- All products sold are final sale.
- While we do not provide super-bills for insurance reimbursement, we can issue a detailed invoice upon request. You may submit this to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
Preparation for Treatment:
Please ensure that all hair is dry, without product, and free of tangles before your appointment. Hair requiring extensive combing may incur an additional fee of $50.
No Liability Clause:
By utilizing our services, clients acknowledge and agree that Hot Head Lice Removal, its employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to the services provided. This includes, but is not limited to, any reaction to products used or any subsequent lice infestations that may occur after the treatment. Additionally, clients agree that Hot Head Lice Removal shall not be responsible for any damages to personal property resulting from the use of products during treatment. Clients must take appropriate measures to monitor and maintain lice-free conditions in their environments.
Changes to Terms and Conditions:
Hot Head Lice Removal reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Clients are encouraged to review these Terms periodically for any updates.
13. 30-Day Guarantee
13.1 Guarantee Terms: Hot Head Lice Removal guarantees that if you follow the recommended treatment and all individuals in the household are checked for lice and/or treated, including nannies and caregivers, on the same day and time of receiving treatment. We will provide additional services free of charge if any lice are found within the Thirty (30) day period after the day of treatment.
13.2 Claiming the Guarantee: In order to invoke the guarantee, the Customer must contact Hot Head Lice Removal within the 30-day period and have all household members checked to confirm the presence of lice. However, if no active lice or nits are found during a follow-up visit, the standard head check fee of $135.00 will apply.
14. Video Tutorial (Coming Soon)
14.1 Tutorial Access: The Customer who purchase a treatment kit will gain access to our step-by-step video tutorials designed to demonstrate the proper use of our products
14.2 Sharing Restrictions: The Customer is prohibited from sharing their access credentials or any content from the video tutorials with anyone else. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing login information, downloading videos, or distributing any materials associated with the tutorial.
14.3 Professional Use Prohibition: The video tutorials are intended solely for personal use by the Customer. Any use of the tutorials for professional training purposes, educational purposes, or commercial use is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Hot Head Lice Removal.
14.4 Duration of Access: Access to Video Tutorials is granted upon confirmation of the purchase of a treatment kit and will remain active for a period specified in the program details provided at purchase.
14.5 Content Updates: The materials available in the Video Tutorial platform may be updated regularly to provide the latest information and tips regarding lice treatment. Hot Head Lice Removal does not guarantee continuous availability of any specific video, tutorial, or resource.
14.6 Responsibility for Use: The Customer is responsible for the use of the content within the Video Tutorial platform and is encouraged to follow all instructions and expertise provided to ensure effective lice removal. Any unauthorized sharing, misuse of the tutorial content, or use for professional training purposes may result in termination of access without refund.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms encompass the entire agreement between the parties, and no prior representations or agreements are binding unless included here.
15.2 Amendments: Any amendments to these Terms must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
15.3 Assignment: The Customer may not assign their rights or obligations under this Contract without the prior written consent of Hot Head Lice Removal.
15.4 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
15.5 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Orange County, California
16. Acknowledgements
16.1 By placing an order or booking with Hot Head Lice Removal for Products or Services, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
